Overview

The family life ministry is the heart of St. Charles Lwanga Ntinda Parish. We were created to strengthen families and marriages in faith and harmony. We recognize that the family is the foundation of the church. So, we nurture peace, unity, and love in homes which build a stronger parish community.

To strengthen families and marriages in faith, unity, and love for the growth of the church.

Objectives

Promote family prayer, individually, as couples, and as a community.
Guide and mentor engaged couples toward sacramental marriage.
Accompany married couples to foster harmony and unity.
Support the widowed, separated, and families in irregular situations.
Encourage financial stability through savings and investment groups.
Align family programs with parish activities for holistic growth.

Provide physical and online marriage instructions

Singles and youth discerning marriage

Offer guidance and counselling sessions

Wedding Day Support

Ensure order during Mass and assist with emceeing

Cross-Cutting Services

Maintain a parish-wide family database for communication and follow-up

Widowed, single parents and couples seeking regularization

Offer pastoral care, inclusion, and encouragement
Organize commemorations for deceased spouses
Guide cohabiting couples toward sacramental marriage

Married Couples

Run the Bafumbo Investment Club to encourage saving and investments
Organize seminars, dinners, retreats, and Valentine’s celebrations
Provide professional counselling and peer support
Organize annual anniversaries to strengthen unity among families
