A New Shepherd for Uganda

Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Tomasz Krzysztof Grysa of Poland as the new Apostolic Nuncio to Uganda on 14th May 2026. As the Pope's personal representative to Uganda, Archbishop Grysa arrives with extensive experience in Madagascar, Seychelles, and Mauritius. We welcome him warmly and pray for his mission among us.

Preserving Voices and Human Faces

Presiding over the 60th World Social Communications Day celebrations at Rubaga Cathedral on May 17, 2026, Archbishop Paul Ssemogerere echoed Pope Leo XIV’s global call for the ethical use of artificial intelligence and emerging media. He urged Catholic communicators and the faithful to prioritize positive, constructive storytelling that promotes social cohesion and protects human dignity. As St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Parish Ntinda, we commit to using our digital spaces responsibly to amplify truth, hope, and authentic human connection in the digital age.

Walking with Christ: Our Corpus Christi Solemnity

Our parish community gathered in deep faith and joyful unity to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi). Following a beautiful Eucharistic celebration, parishioners processing through the Parish grounds publicly witnessed our devotion, singing hymns of praise and receiving benediction at beautifully adorned altars. It was a powerful milestone of shared reverence and community renewal for young and old alike.
